The Arts & the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act Deadline Extension

The Arts & the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act application deadline has been extended to April 6, 2009 at 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time. The deadline has been extended due to technical issues, beyond the agency's control, with Grants.gov, the federal government's online application system. Applicants who qualify for this extension will not use Grants.gov to submit their applications. They will email their Grants.gov application package directly to the Arts Endowment according to the instructions below. If you have already successfully submitted an application, please do not submit it again.

This extension applies only to organizations that attempted to submit their application to Grants.gov by the April 2 deadline and can document that they were unsuccessful due to technical issues with Grants.gov.

Applications under this deadline extension must be submitted via email to the appropriate address below by 11:59 p.m., Eastern Time on April 6, 2009. Use the email address for the discipline that is most relevant to your project. This should be the same discipline that you selected for the "Project/Field" designation on the NEA Supplemental Information Form. Email your application only to the one below that is specific to your application. Do not copy it to any other NEA email address.
