Research Reports (R) are comprehensive accounts of trends and findings about artistic disciplines, arts employment, arts participation, and the arts’ value and impact in American life. These reports typically contain original research and detailed statistical analyses. |
Research Notes (N), or technical papers, analyze large, nationally representative datasets for findings of interest to arts and cultural researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers. |
Research Brochures (B) display original NEA research findings in a series of bullet points, graphics, or highlights. They are designed to communicate immediately with the layperson on research affecting the general public and, potentially, public policy. |
Research Convenings are national meetings with arts and cultural researchers, practitioners, and policy-makers. Webcast archives and meeting materials are available.
|
ERIC Listings are unpublished research reports, working papers, and final reports of projects conducted by NEA contractors and grantees. These products are on deposit in the Educational Resources Information Center (ERIC).
