Individuals must submit their applications electronically through Grants.gov, the federal government's online application system. See "How to Prepare and Submit an Application" for further information.

Late applications will not be accepted.

In the event of an emergency (e.g., a hurricane or Grants.gov technological failure), the NEA Chairman may adjust application deadlines for affected applicants. If a deadline is extended for any reason, an announcement will be posted on our Web site.

Please do not seek information on the status of your application before the announcement date that is listed above.
