To support expansion of Writing Our Stories: An Anti-Violence Creative Writing Program. Middle-school students will learn the tools of poetry and fiction writing, read and discuss literary works, and publicly present their written work.
Delta Blues Education Fund
CATEGORY: Access to Artistic Excellence FIELD/DISCIPLINE: Folk & Traditional Arts
To support the Delta Blues Education Program. Student-apprentices will learn the Delta blues tradition directly from master blues musician Johnnie "Mr. Johnnie" Billington and graduate students from his training program.
