To support the presentation of dance, music, and theater works, including commissioned presentations, such as 29 Lives by choreographer Doug Varone. Each of the presentations will be accompanied by related public events such as discussions, lecture-demonstrations, workshops, and open rehearsals.

To support the publication and promotion of books of poetry. The press will publish the work of artists such as North Korean poet Ko Un, Japanese American poet Shin Yu Pai, and two American-born poets.

To support professional development in chamber music. Young emerging musicians will participate in rehearsals, coaching sessions, master classes, and performances during the annual summer chamber music festival.
