To support the touring exhibition American Modern: Abbott, Evans, Bourke-White, with accompanying catalogue and education programs. The exhibition will demonstrate how American photographers in the 1930s reinvented the documentary genre.

To support the touring exhibition Craft in America: The Creative Continuum. The exhibition will present a broad cross section of objects, materials, and makers from diverse geographic, cultural, and educational backgrounds.

To support the touring exhibition En Foco/In Focus: Selected Works from the Permanent Collection, with accompanying catalogue and education programs. This will be the first time the public will have access to En Foco's collection of more than 600 photographs.

To support a touring exhibition of Midwestern modernist art, with accompanying catalogue. The exhibition will highlight the artistic tradition of a region of the country often overlooked in discussions of the development of modernism in the United States.

To support the touring exhibition Expanding the Family of Man: Masters of "Sixties" Photography, with accompanying catalogue and education programs. The exhibition expands on American photographer Edward Steichen's groundbreaking 1955 show of works by photographers from around the world that examined commonalities in the lives of people from different countries and cultures.

To support a touring exhibition of masterpieces of Native American art from NYSHA's Fenimore Art Museum, with accompanying catalogue and family guide. The exhibition will be drawn from the Eugene and Clare Thaw Collection of more than 800 works donated to the museum in 1993.

To support a touring exhibition of the work of contemporary African American artist Radcliffe Bailey (b.1968), with accompanying catalogue and education programs. High Museum of Art's exhibition will highlight the Atlanta-based artist's continual experimentation with diverse forms as it examines how African art influences his work.

To support the touring exhibition Impressive Impressions: Fifty Years of Tamarind Lithographs, with accompanying catalogue. The parameters of and artists' accessibility to printmaking in general and lithography in particular have expanded significantly due in part to the creative and educational activities provided by Tamarind.
