International PartnersThe International Partnerships of the National Endowment for the Arts bring the benefits of international exchange to arts organizations, artists and audiences nationwide through cooperative initiatives with other funders. Our activities help increase worldwide recognition of the excellence, diversity and vitality of the arts of the United States. The NEA’s support of international activities showcases U.S. arts around the world and broadens the scope of experience of American artists, thereby enriching the art that they create. Through partnerships with other government agencies and the private sector, the NEA also fosters international creative collaboration by strengthening residency programs of foreign artists in communities across the country. Local citizens as well as the arts community benefit from the lasting international ties that result from these activities. Projects that include the presentation of foreign artists in the United States are eligible under the NEA Grants for Arts Project Guidelines. Interested applicants are encouraged to review the requirements and the grant examples under the relevant arts discipline or field. The FY 2009 Grants for Arts Projects Guidelines are available online in the Apply for A Grant section of the web site at http://www.arts.gov/grants/apply/index.html The Arts Endowment supports the following partnerships: ArtsLinkArtsLink Residencies provide U.S. arts organizations the opportunity to host an artist or arts manager from Central Europe, Russia or Eurasia for a five-week residency.
