California Indian Basketweavers Association
Formed in 1992, this is a non-profit organization of about 375 members with voting membership
reserved for California Indian traditional basketweavers and associate membership available to the
general public. CIBA maintains a mailing list of basketweavers, publishes a newsletter, and hosts
an annual basketweavers' gathering.

A resource for communities and their folk arts in northern California. Based in the Anthropology
Department of San Francisco s natural history mueum.
A traditional and ethnic arts organization in Dayton, Ohio, CITYFOLK showcases a wide range of
artists reflecting the rich, cultural diversity of the community and from around the world. It
sponsors music and dance events, hosts the National Folk Festival in Dayton, presents film and
theater, and conducts educational workshops.
